ENTRY INFORMATION:

Bunbury Open Carnival is an annual event and a great way for WA clubs to compete together in a regional setting. South West Sport Centre has excellent facilities and swimmers will enjoy competing in our beautiful indoor pool.

Make the most of the weekend! Stop by the SWA Open Water Series No2 Saturday morning on your way to the wonderful Southwest staying overnight in Bunbury for a restful night before our vibrant, competitive regional meet – Bunbury Open Carnival.

Warm up starts at 8:00am with a meet start time of 9:00am.

Medals will be awarded to the three fastest male and female swimmers as follows:

• Each age group of the 50m events 8yrs; 9yrs; 10yrs; 11yrs; 12yrs; 13yrs; 14yrs; 15yrs; 16yrs and 17yrs/Over regardless of age.
• Each division of the 100m events and 200m Individual Medley 9-10yrs; 11-12yrs; 13-14yrs; 15-16yrs; 17yrs/Over regardless of age.
• Each event of the 200m backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and 1500m freestyle and
• Each relay event

All events will be conducted as timed finals. The mixed open 1500m freestyle will be limited to one heat only (the first 10 entries will be accepted).

Please note that all Entry times must have been achieved since Tuesday, 1 January 2019 and must have been achieved in a Long Course (50m) pool.
