2020 Hancock Prospecting State SC Championships
Friday warmup starts at 2:30 pm for a 3:30 pm start.
Saturday & Sunday warmup starts at 8:00 for a 9:00am start.
Pool Access for Swimmers, Coaches and Spectators
VenuesWest has recently made changes to their operations at HBF Stadium, which will have an effect on the SC Championships this weekend. VenuesWest has capped the number of patrons allowed in the pool grandstand to 600 people in order for every spectator the opportunity to have 2m2 between them.
The grandstand area is for spectators only, swimmers and coaches will not be able to access the grandstand and will only be allowed onto the pool concourse, entering through the main reception area, with spectators going to the upper concourse & entering the grandstand through door 3. Swimming WA will be altering the pool concourse set up to ensure there is appropriate space for swimmers and coaches over the weekend.
Warm Up Pools
Swimmers will have access to the non-competition side of the 50m indoor pool and outdoor 10-land pool at all times. The indoor dive pool is available at all times except for 9.00am – 12.00pm on Saturday.
Coach Accreditation
To be allowed on the pool deck, Coaches must display their current ASCTA and WWCC cards with a SWA lanyard around their neck so it is clearly identifiable from a distance. SWA lanyards will be available for collection during the warm-up before each session.
Medal Presentation
All swimmers are reminded that medal presentations will take place immediately following the last heat of their event. The top place getters are required to go straight to medal presentations following their event to confirm the results and medal winners. All swimmers must be appropriately dressed during the medal presentations wearing a club shirt, shorts/pants and footwear (slides are acceptable).
