Squad Level:
Junior Intermediate to Advanced
Minimum Criteria:
Consistently demonstrate ability to read the pace clock and work off time cycles without coach prompting
Consistently, correctly and efficiently swim 2000-3000m each session
Consistently demonstrate the ability to correctly dive in for ALL strokes/events and complete underwater work to minimum 8 metres
Consistently demonstrates the ability to correctly do change of direction turns in ALL strokes/events and at least 5m underwater
Consistently demonstrate the ability to finish ALL strokes/events correctly
Other swimmers at coach’s discretion
Maturity, age, physical & mental attributes, and contributions to squad

More advanced skills for competition are refined, such as Individual Medley turns and race specific skills.
