UWA WEST COASTJUNIOR GREEN SQUAD

Squad Level:
  • Junior Novice
Minimum Criteria:
  • Swimmer should be able to continuously cover a distance of 200m in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke while demonstrating satisfactory starts, turns and stroke technique.
  • In addition, the swimmer should demonstrate 25m of butterfly.
The Program focuses on:
  • While the main objective of this squad is still stroke development, an increasing emphasis is placed on improving endurance, as well as advancing the development of split-strokes, drills, starts, turns and finishes.
