UWA West Coast Gym Appeal Update

27/11/2020

Thank you for your continued support of the UWA West Coast Swimming Club.  As a Club we have enjoyed a long history of success and this has been built upon a culture of goodwill and excellence. Our swimmers have been recognised at the national level and at the Olympics.

UWA West Coast Swimming Club has been reviewing the available options to provide a high quality gym program for our performance squads.  Strength training is an integral part of swimmer development, and we understand the value this offers to the swimmers involved in the training.  We want to continue this as a critical part of the UWA West Coast swim offering.

The strength and conditioning training will be overseen by our fully qualified strength and conditioning coaches working with each squad swim coach to ensure programs are tailored the swimmers needs.

To ensure our future swimmers remain highly competitive and have every chance of victory, we aim to raise $40,000 to further enhance our swimmer’s strength training program.  These funds will help build the bank of specialised equipment required for this program which will give our swimmers the competitive edge in the pool.

Donations are fully tax deductible and 100% of funds will support swimmers at the UWA West Coast Club.
